As with most adventure sports in Tehran, you will find an abundance of travel and tour companies offering various package deals to help you make the most of mountain climbing in the Alborz. Still if you don’t want to have your hand held all the way through, you can at least sign up to some training whilst you are in the mountains. Iranian authorities recently sent a number of professional climbers in order to train people on the dangers of climbing rocks without prior coaching – you’ve been warned!
