Switzerland: Population

It may be small (15,940) but it’s densely populated, with 7 million inhabitants. There is also a chain of older mountains called Jura in Switzerland.More than 75% of the population of Switzerland live in the central plain, which stretches between the Alps and the Jura Mountains and from Geneva in the southwest to the Rhine River and Lake Constance in the northeast of Switzerland. Resident foreigners and temporary foreign workers make up about 20% of the population of Switzerland.
