Sweden: Horse Riding
More than just flatpack furniture!
Another Swedish claim to fame is that it has one of the highest numbers of horses per head of the population, so it is no surprise that horse riding is a loved pastime in Sweden. Sweden offers everything from western and Icelandic horse riding, to forest hacks on North Swedish Horses, or two-horse carriage driving on two of its indigenous horse breeds: the North Swedish Horse and the Gotland pony. North Swedish Horses are good, all-round horses, well suited to driving and riding, while the Gotland Pony is good in the countryside.
