Stockholm: When to go

Peak season for a Stockholm holiday is mid May - mid September, when the weather is warmer. June through August is the nicest time, though it can rain a lot in the summer. The Christmas season is also a great time to visit Stockholm, especially if you’d like to combine your visit with a winter sports holiday. Stockholm and the rest of Sweden are Christmas-crazy, with many markets, events and celebrations happening during this time of year.
