Stockholm offers many climbing opportunities with its 18 rock climbing crags, covering 525 rock climbing routes, many in or close to central Stockholm. Rock climbing in Stockholm is especially picturesque on the crags that jut out of the water, but all areas are quite beautiful. Favorite climbing areas around Stockholm include Ryssgraven in Kungsängen, Kanalklippan in Nacka, Gåseborg in Jakobsberg, and Häggsta in Huddinge.
