Sardinia: Crime

The Little Continent

Sardinia Crime

Crime in Sardinia is minimal and the largest crime on the island is petty crime including pick-pocketing and theft of valuables in cars. You can avoid this by not leaving any valuable items in your car or parking it in a supervised car park. When walking around towns, cities, or busy tourist area, avoid carrying a bag or keep your money in a money belt. Sardinian culture is modest so try to avoid wearing skimpy clothing if you are a woman so you don’t offend the locals.
