Samos: When to go

The season in Samos lasts from May to October, with the hot dry summer months being the most popular among sun-worshippers and package holiday-makers. If scorching heat isn’t for you, then late May to early June could be the perfect time to go. All the flowers on Samos are in bloom still, before the power of the sun gets to work. For those heading to Samos for the hiking and walking, September through to mid-December is a great time to visit Samos. The weather is still sunny, but the heat is more manageable. From mid-December to March, there’s more chance of rain.
