Rhodes Geography

Rhodes is one of Greece's Dodecanese islands and is located around 18km south-west of Turkey in the Aegean Sea. It has an area of around 1,400 km sq. The island's coastline stretches for 220km and has a landscape that shares closer similarities to that of Turkey that most of the rest of Greece. The centre of the island is largely mountainous with only small pockets of inhabited land. Much of its coastline is rocky but the island
