Quebec Geography

The province of Quebec is located in Canada, and is Canada's largest province. The capital of Quebec is Quebec City; Montreal is the largest city and both are situated in the south of the province in the region of the Saint Lawrence River. The province borders the province of Ontario, James Bay and Hudson Bay, as well as the provinces of New Brunswick and Newfoundland and Labrador. Quebec also has borders with the United States (Maine, New Hampshire,Vermont, and New York). Quebec is rich in natural resources such as coniferous forests, lakes and rivers. In Quebec you will find the Appalachian Mountains, the Laurentians and the Saint Lawrence River Valley.
