Some of the best breaks for surfers in Puerto Rico are found along the north, northwest and west coasts of Puerto Rico. Surfing in Puerto Rico is traditionally centered around Rincon, and although the waves are good so are the locals, and the wave is normally busy. A better bet for surfing would be Dunes or Montones, with beginners being more suited to Punta Higuero.
