The Caribbean island of Puerto Rico has a vast range of sightseeing opportunities for travelers. From historical ruins to cultural buildings, art museums to churches and plazas, the list is endless. The capital city of San Juan has a wide variety of sightseeing on offer, mostly concentrated in old San Juan. A few popular sites in old San Juan include the forts of El Morro and San Cristobel, the Catedral de San Juan, La Fortaleza, Casa Blanca, the Pablo Casals Museum and the beautiful plazas that fill the old city of San Juan. Other places of interest in the country include the Aceribo Observatory, Noah’s Ark (El Arca De Noe) which is an aviary featuring many exotic bird species, some primates and other miscellaneous species, the Rio Camuy Cave Park, the Centro Ceremonial de Caguana in Utuado, the El Yunque rain forest, the Coamo Thermal Springs in the small town of Coamo, amongst others.
