Panama When to go

Panama City enjoys an agreeable year-round climate with hot, humid summers and warm winter weather, making Panama City the perfect vacation destination. The summer months in Panama City, from May to September, feature typically hot, sunny weather, with a fairly humid climate and cooler evenings. June, July and August are the hottest months of the year, with temperatures peaking at around 33°C / 91°F. Wet weather in the Panama City area is spread throughout the year, although more rain falls during the summer months, often quickly followed by sunshine. Thunderstorms can occur during the summer months. Those stuck with certain weeks because of work or the kids’ school holidays should book as early as possible even 3 months or more in advance.

Discounts for booking early are usually available so you can still pick up a bargain break. The other busiest periods are Summer and Christmas where hotel and guest house prices are at a premium. However, if you plan to go to Panama City any other time of the year you will most definitely find some real bargains.
