Panama City’s cosmopolitan nature is reflected in its restaurants: almost every cuisine in the world can be found here, from US fast food to Greek, Italian, Chinese, Japanese and French - all ranging from the inexpensive and affordable through to the rarefied elegancies (and prices) of fine dining.
Most of the upmarket options are scattered around El Cangrejo, Bella Vista, although there is also a thriving café scene with scores of great outdoor eateries to try. San Felipe, Balboa and Calidonia also all contain a proficient assortment of restaurants and cafes that provide enough scope to suit all tastes and budgets.
