Panama City is the great destination for a sailing holiday. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced sailor, there are several fine opportunities to sail in and around Panama City. Beginners can learn to sail in the enchanting surroundings of the Panama Bay, leaving from San Felipe or further afield in Punta Paitilla whilst experienced sailors can explore the Panama coastline and drink in all the fantastic scenery from the Pacific Ocean. Organised tours also allow you to experience the thrill of real sailing and are freely available along the Canal, towards Colon and the Caribbran Sea.

Sailing holidays in Panama City are available all year round and the prices vary depending on the time of year and the length of time you wish to sail. While there are not a huge amount of sailing hire companies in the Panama City, those available are close to the city centre and coastline, well serviced with many competitively-priced deals and are very safe.
