Masai Mara: Introduction

The ultimate safari experience

Masai Mara Introduction Masai Mara Introduction

The gentle rolling grasslands of the Masai Mara are the destination for an unforgettable safari holiday for any wildlife lover. In the Masai Mara, a vast nature reserve in Kenya, the most spectacular sight to be seen is the migration of more than two million zebra and wildebeest, as they make their way from the Serengeti, to the fresh new grass of the Masai Mara at the end of June/beginning of July. This continues throughout the summer and into September, but there are wildlife wonders to be seen year-round in the Masai Mara, with lions, cheetah, hippo, leopard, giraffe, elephant and more than 450 species of birds within this wildlife wonderland.

One of the most memorable experiences during a safari holiday in the Masai Mara is an early morning balloon safari over the plains, watching the animals at the river, and ending with a champagne breakfast. Something you won’t forget in a hurry!
