Hostels generally offer self-catering accommodation for backpackers on a budget. This will include a kitchen area, commonly outside with a sink for washing up, BBQ, and gas stove. Cutlery and utensils are not always provided so check before you arrive. Local markets or shops stock a range of food, but may be a distance from where you are staying. Ask the owners for directions and don’t leave your shopping trip too late.
