Fishing in Majorca is a well loved sport as well as a way of life on the island. As a visitor to the island there are plenty options for fishing enthusiasts. There is some great deep sea fishing about 20 nautical miles off the northern coast of Majorca which are some of the best areas in the Mediterranean to fish for blue fin tuna. You can find fishing companies in the Port of Soller that will take you out to the fishing area on one of their specialist boats and equip you with all the necessary equipment. Regular fish caught are sea bream, scorpionfish, rainbow wraffe and red mullet. Prices vary from season to season, company and the type and length of trip you want to do but for a deep sea fishing trip in Majorca expect to pay anywhere between 350 Euros and 800 Euros. There are also some great coastal fishing opportunities.
