Madeira: When to Book

With so much accommodation on the small island of Madeira, there should always be somewhere available to stay, but if you’re heading to Madeira in the peak periods of July and August and Christmas and New Year, it’s wise to book about 3 months ahead to secure the accommodation you want. Make sure you book well ahead if you want to catch special events such as the Flower Festival in May and the Grape Harvest in September.
