Las Vegas Introduction Las Vegas Introduction Las Vegas Introduction

Las Vegas is a fast-paced city set in a desert oasis. As the most popular city in the United States, Las Vegas appeals to visitors looking for fun, excitement, and glamour most notably on The Strip. You can always catch someone taking their picture in front of the famous “Welcome to Las Vegas” neon sign. Most visitors cannot wait to try their luck at gambling where casinos are happy to teach you any of the dozens of games available to play. If your previous night of high stakes gambling has you too excited, try relaxing at one of the many resort spas, pools, or golf courses.

A popular spot with many is to view the Bellagio fountain show from the outdoor cafe of the Paris. Once you’ve fully recovered, Las Vegas still offers many activities from water sports at Lake Mead, the sights at Hoover Dam, hiking at Red Rock, or touring the vintage remnants of the downtown Las Vegas of a bygone era. Whichever way you choose to see Vegas, you must take an air-conditioned taxi or bus everywhere in the summer months where the heat from the sun is more intense than the heat of The Strip.
