Jersey is one of the five Channel Islands in the English Channel in Western Europe, located 14 miles (22 kilometres) off the coast of France and 100 miles (160 kilometres) from the south coast of Britain.

The currency in Jersey is Pounds Sterling although Jersey does have its own notes and coins. All cash machines dispense Pounds Sterling. Euros are accepted in a limited number of outlets.
