As the 50th state, Hawaii is the USA’s youngest state and one of the youngest geological formations in the world. Hundreds of islands make up Hawaii but it is most known for the eight main islands located at the southeast end of the archipelago: Niihau, Kauai, Oahu, Molokai, Lanai, Kahoolawe, Maui, and Hawaii (the Big Island).
