There are few, if any opportunities for abseiling in Guatemala, even though there are other opportunities for activity-based holidays in the country, such as caving, kayaking and white-water rafting. Of course, you will need to check that any instructors in Guatemala are properly trained and that all aspects of safety have been considered.
