Cyprus: Costs

Prices in Cyprus are not too dissimilar to that in most British towns and cities. Since changing to the Euro in January 2008, cost of living has risen in Cyprus. However, you will find prices in supermarkets and shops are considerably lower and buying petrol is much more cost effective than the UK.

Hotels - 50 Euros upwards for 3 star

Can of Coke - 52 cents
Cup of coffee - 2 Euros
Full English Breakfast - 3 Euros
Lunch - 10 Euro
Dinner - 15 Euro
Cigarettes pack of 20 - 2.50 Euros
Taxis - 1 Euro for a 2 minute journey
Buses - between 50 cents and 3 Euros depending on distance
Cycle Hire from 10 Euros per day, £50 per week
