Croatia: Scuba Diving
The New Riviera

The Adriatic is a relatively calm sea with no high waves or strong currents. The calmness of the sea in combination with the clearness of the water provide the ideal conditions to discover and explore coral reefs, caves and wrecks inhabited by many colourful fishes and other creatures. Some of the most popular locations for diving in Croatia are Bol on the island of Brac, the more remote island of Vis and Vela Luka on the Island of Korcula. Croatia's underwater treasures include wrecks, coral reefs, caves and endless schools of fish. The diving season runs from May through November. A one-year fee of about €30 (100 Kuna) per year is charged for any one choosing to scuba dive in Croatia.
