Resorts in Costa Rica
Tourism is big business in Costa Rica and foreign brands, encouraged by the region’s peaceful and eco-innovative reputation are investing in all-inclusive family resorts. The Hilton brand has a famous resort in Papagayo, in the Guanacaste province. Offering endless facilities, entertainment, its own beach and even staging weddings, it is an example of the booming tourism industry within the country. All of these resorts have flashy websites offering a taste of paradise in luxury accommodation, though most travel agents will also be privy to these. Prices are complicated as there will usually be a set price for the room and extra if you bring a child 2-12 (child rate), though especially young children are usually free. Expect prices of around 300 Euros a night for the average family of 3.
