Costa Rica: Cycling - Mountain Biking

Not one for the inexperienced rider, but cycling through Costa Rica is one of the closest interactions with the unique ecosystem. Cyclists may need to bring their own bikes as most people in Costa Rica use some form of automobile to get about their daily lives – which is why there is so much traffic. This is also another thing to consider, short of roughing it on the dangerous and volatile terrain. Still cycling in Costa Rica is a truly natural experience.
