Costa Rica: Bus Tours

You can take bus tours in most of the major tourist destinations like San José and buses run to and from every major Costa Rican city. You can take short bus tours locally, medium-length tours to far out destinations and long-haul journeys to the other side of the country. All longer distance bus tours can be booked in advance either through your travel agent, tourist office or in the bus office onsite at the stop. Tours are mainly used as sightseeing operations, though some include stop-offs and activities as well.
