There are around 100 hotels in Costa Dorada, so every holidaymaker seeking to stay in a hotel in this sun kissed coastal region will be spoilt for choice. The most economical hotels are one and two star and start from around €47 a night with a range of rooms from single, twin, and triple and some even have restaurants. Three star hotels range from €50 a night to €120 and have varying facilities from indoor and outdoor pools, bars, restaurants and play areas for the children, many are based in the key cities such as Tarragona and Salou. The cost of the accommodation is dependent on its location, for example, hotels in the city centres, such as Barcelona will be dearer and hotels on the beach will mostly be more expensive too. Four star hotels are priced upwards of €75 a night and most have ensuite facilities, saunas, mini golf, table tennis and a gymnasium, as well as bars and restaurants. As a result, in terms of entertainment at these four star hotels in the Costa Dorada, there is something for everyone. There are fewer five star hotels in the Costa Dorada region and start at round €240 a night and many are furnished with spas and are located on the seafront. Be aware that prices also vary according to the time of year, and hotels are most expensive during the summer season and the school holidays, which are the peak times to take a holiday to the Costa Dorada.
