Costa Dorada: When to go
The Golden Coast

The Costa Dorada benefits from a year-long comfortable and pleasant climate, with temperatures averaging around 19 degrees centigrade or 66 degrees Fahrenheit, making it an ideal destination for visiting during both peak and off peak times. Summer is the busiest time of the year when temperatures are at their hottest, and August in particular is also when the coast is most crowded as this is the traditional holiday month in Spain. Therefore accommodation can be more expensive with less availability,
If visitors are able to avoid peak times, they will still have the opportunity to visit the city when temperatures are still mild and hot enough for outdoor leisure activities. Rates are also lower which means that value for money is even better. It is also worth bearing in mind that thunderstorm activity becomes more frequent and severe during late September and throughout October before decreasing both in intensity and number in November, December and January.
