Caribbean Costs

Holidays to the Caribbean are often quite pricey as it is a tropical playground for the rich and famous. If you decide to travel during peak seasons, then be prepared to pay extra high prices and make sure to book in advance.

If you are looking for a low-cost Caribbean holiday, why not travel during the cooler months when the warm-weather lovers stay home? You can save up to 50% by holidaying in the Caribbean in the off season. Another way to save money on a Caribbean vacation is by staying at an all-inclusive resort. Club Med has a number of villages in the Caribbean and offers packages that include your room, three meals a day (including beer and wine at lunch and dinner), most sports, entertainment and activities for children at their family villages. All-Inclusive Vacations offers discount vacations, mostly to Sandals and SuperClubs resorts in Jamaica, the Bahamas and St. Lucia. But it is important to know what you're getting when you book an all-inclusive vacation. Package holidays can sometimes be tacky, and do not provide you with the freedom to explore the island as you may feel guilty leaving the resort when everything has already been paid for. Also remember that not "everything" is always included and each of these resorts has a different atmosphere, ranging from family-friendly to couples-only.
