Cannes: Camping

Pearl of the French Riviera

Most of the camp sites in Cannes are nestled in green shaded parks full of mimosas and eucalyptus. It is enjoyable to unwind in such a natural setting, particularly after spending hours on the buzzing La Croisette. There is no camp site in Cannes downtown. A dozen camp sites are situated in the surroundings - up to 10 km away from La Croisette - and don’t expect them to be directly on the seashore. They are in small towns such as La Bocca, Le Cannet, Mandelieu, La Napoule, so you need to rent a car to avoid feeling isolated although some camp sites provide a shuttle service to Cannes. A camping holiday in Cannes is ideal for those looking for budget accommodation. Besides, camp sites around Cannes are reasonably comfortable and offer a swimming pool in addition to a wide range of outdoor activities and evening entertainment. You can either book a furnished mobile home or use the places for tents, caravans and camping cars. Some camps sites are open from April to October, others all year round. Try to book in advance, especially when it comes to July and August.
