Canary Islands: Winter Sun

More than simply Sun, Sea and Sand

Canary Islands Winter Sun

Winter Sun Holidays in the Canary Islands are hugely popular. And it is not difficult to see why, with average winter temperatures on Tenerife between October and March ranging between 18 to 20 degrees, and sunshine hours ranging between 6 to 8, it is perpetual summer on the Canaries. In fact, the winter holiday period on Tenerife and Gran Canaria is as popular as the summer, with many choosing to spend Christmas holidays there. If you are thinking of doing the same, the southern resorts of Tenerife or Gran Canaria are highly reccommended for year round sunshine. Sea temperatures remain warm too, and rainfall is low, especially in the southern resorts on Tenerife. Flights to the Canary Islands in winter are usually reasonably priced. There are a range of fabulous resorts to choose from including Costa Adeje, Playa de las Americas, Los Cristianos or Los Gigantes.
