Canada Population

The population is extremely low for a country of such considerable size, and is estimated at around 33,212,696. A multitude of languages are spoken, the most predominant ones being English (67.1%) and French (21.5%). English is the predominant language everywhere except Quebec, where it is French. Other unofficial languages include Chinese, Punjabi, Spanish and Italian. Canada is very ethnically diverse, and has seen immigration from all over the world. The most common religion in Canade is the Catholic religion, followed by the Protestant religion. Around 16.5% have no religious affiliation, while a small percentage practise Islam and Judaism.
