Canada occupies the majority of North America. It is a vast country, the second largest in the world behind Russia. The Pacific Ocean lies to the west and the Atlantic Ocean is to the east. To the north lies the Arctic Ocean. Canada boasts the world's longest coastline of 202,080 kilometres. The physical geography of Canada is extremely varied, with forests throughout the entire country and a lot of ice to the north. Canada is famed for its many magnificent mountains and lakes, and it also susceptible to volcanoes, particularly in the west.
