Budapest: Cycling - Mountain Biking

Budapest is not the best place for cycling. There are however a couple of tour operators offering bike hire or guided tours, and as Budapest does not have the best cycling path system in the world a guide is probably the best option if you want a safe passage to some of the most popular and attractive sights in the city. There are some cycle paths around the city, but these are often shared with pedestrians and motorists do not show much regard for cyclists. Riding a bike around Budapest therefore can be a dangerous and frustrating experience, albeit the healthiest.
