Peak season for a Bahamas holiday is mid-December to mid-April, when the weather is at its driest and holiday makers are escaping the cold in their home countries. Prices are higher during this time. Keep in mind that year round temperatures average 24°C-29°C in the Bahamas, though May-October are considerably rainier than other months. Still, the off season provides plenty of sunny days and many other advantages such as lower prices, less crowds and shorter waiting lists, though these perks may be accompanied by renovations and a drop in services. March to mid April means spring break for American and Canadian high school students, so many may wish to avoid this notoriously boisterous crowd.
