Bahamas: Golf

29 islands against a backdrop of blue

Lots of sunshine and warm weather mitigated by cool breezes make for great golf conditions on the islands of the Bahamas. Winter is the best time for golf, but also the busiest. May through October are considerably wetter than in the winter, though the Bahamas isn’t especially rainy, and prices and crowds are less during the off season. Golf courses in the Bahamas are on the following four islands: Grand Bahama Island (2), New Providence Island near Nassau (3), Great Exuma (2), and Treasure Cay in the Abacos (2). Playing golf in the Bahamas is made all the more better by the numerous white sand beaches, beautiful turquoise waters and first rate accommodation.
