Antigua and Barbuda: Fishing
Life is a beach

Deep sea sport fishing in the warm, deep waters of Antigua and on-shore light rod fishing are both popular sports in Antigua and to a lesser extent in Barbuda’s Codrington Lagoon. Charter boats and fishing parties are available at St. John’s, English Harbour, Jolly Harbour, Dickenson Bay and Long Bay. Antigua Fishing, based at English Harbour arranges deep sea charters for marlin, tuna, king fish, wahoo, shark and barracuda in the Atlantic waters and on-shore fishing in bays for bonefish, tarpon, snook and barracuda. Captain Mike based at Jolly Harbour does deep sea fishing trips. Fishing trips are also organised at Dickenson Bay for USD 100 half day and from the Long Bay Hotel. Big game anglers are attracted to Antigua and Barbuda every year to take part in the Antigua and Barbuda Sport Fishing Tournament held every Whit weekend.
